Welcome to
the G&L Audio Clips Library. In this section we present G&L instruments
being used to play in various musical styles and demonstrate the tones
that can be had from these instruments. At this time there is just a handful
of models represented, but this section will continue growing and probably
never considered "complete". The audio clips currently available
are performed by artists Brandino, Steve Trovato, JP Cervoni, Arnie Newman
and Fabrizio Grossi. In the near future, we will be adding more clips
from these artists, as well as from the talented musicians who design
and hand-craft the G&L instruments.

You must
have the Macromedia Flash 4.0 or higher plug-in installed on your computer.
When you enter the index of audio clips by clicking the link at the bottom
of this page, the system will automatically check if you have Flash 4.0
or higher installed. If you need the Flash plug-in, or you need to upgrade
your Flash plug-in, you will be prompted to go to the download site where
you can get the necessary Flash Player. The Flash Player is free.
Please note that computers equipped with Soundblaster 64 or 128 sound
cards may exhibit a slight clicking sound during playback of the audio
clips. This is caused by an incompatibility with the Flash Player and
these specific models of Sound Blaster sound cards. Macromedia is expected
to correct this problem with the next version of the Flash Player. When
it becomes available, you will be prompted to download the free Flash
upgrade the next time you visit the G&L Audio Library. Many users
with Soundblaster 64 or 128 sound cards will not experience the clicking
sound, even without the next release of the Flash Player. It is unknown
why some computers with Soundblaster 64 or 128 sound cards do not exhibit
this problem.

This section
is engineered to be cross-platform, meaning that whether you are using
a PC or Mac computer, you should encounter no difficulty experiencing
the audio clips. In order for us to accomplish this without multiple file
formats, the audio clips are controlled by Macromedia's Flash Player.
Using Flash also allows the files to load quickly, so that you do not
have to wait for each clip to load before you play them. Click one, then
the next, there ready to enjoy without download time between them. Using
the Flash Player format also allows us to share these files without risk
of theft and copyright infringement.
