"I'd heard a lot of good things about G&L from other bassists I know.  Some of these guys are pretty hard core, you know, and they'd caught onto the buzz about the L-2000.  I'd been playing this other bass the manufacturer always promoted as being this big time rock bass, and figured that it was pretty much the best for our musical style.  But since my bass is really important to me, I took these guys' advice and checked out the L-2000 and bought it on the spot.

First of all, it had this killer finish they call Red Swirl that looked really bad-ass, kinda evil with those beefy pickups and massive bridge, you know?  The first time I plugged it in I found myself instantly reaching for my amp's volume knob - scared.  The output of this bass with both humbucking pickups on combined with the bass boost in series mode kicked my sound into a monstrous, growling beast.  Adding the treble boost and this fucker screams for days.  There are tons of tones in this bass!  The L-2000 is rock solid and took my daily beating at the OZZFEST and always came back in tune and begging for more!!!

Right away it became my main bass and now I just keep my old bass to throw around.  I've always liked black stuff, and right now G&L's making me a custom black and gold swirl  L-2000 so I  won't have to worry about ever having to go back to that old bass.    Without a doubt, I'd recommend it to anyone."
