G&L Feature Artist: Forever the Sickest Kids

G&L hits the punk rock circuit

Texas based rockers, Forever the Sickest Kids (FTSK), understand the meaning of “punk rock”. The band received their first big break when they inadvertently purchased advertising on PureVolume two days after the band was formed. Instead of looking for a refund or accepting their losses, the band wrote and recorded their first single “Hey Brittany” which quickly gained popularity and got them in touch with major labels, and eventually led to signing with Universal Motown Records.

Like many other bands in the punk/indie music scene, FTSK has been touring and writing relentlessly since forming, and have managed to establish a strong fanbase despite minimal radio play. They have toured alongside many of the biggest names in punk and have played many major festivals, which most recently included the WARPED tour.

FTSK's catchy hooks and witty lyrics are supported by crunchy riffs and thundering bass provided by G&L. Bassist Austin Bellow can be seen on stage and in the studio with his striking JB Bass in baby blue, and guitarist Rico Garcia plays the most punk rock guitar in the G&L lineup; the new-for-2013 Fallout.

Forever the Sickest Kids put on a great show in the vein of classic punk rock, that will be enjoyed by fans of 70's underground punk to fans of modern radio-friendly pop punk.
