G&L Guitars News: Austin Bello of Forever The Sickest Kids

Austin Bello of Forever The Sickest Kids

Great things have been happening for Forever The Sickest Kids. You can catch them on the 2013 Van's Warped Tour but you've probably also heard them while chillin' and watching TV lately. A number of the band's songs have been featured in commercials for Nerf, and the single "King For A Day" is featured in a commercial for History channel's reality/documentary series Swamp People. The band has also performed the theme song, "We Are The Guardians," for the Nicktoons show NFL Rush Zone: Guardians of the Core, and in January, performed at the NFL Play 60 Kids' Day Experience in New Orleans ahead of the Super Bowl. With everything thing that is going on, it's easy to see why Alternative Press listed the band number one in an article entitled, "22 Best Underground Bands."

"The way a G&L bass feels in a bass player's hands is magical" - Austin Bello

We recently caught up with bassist Austin Bello, pictured here with a G&L JB Bass, who said this: "The way a G&L bass feels in a bass player's hands is magical, not fairy dust magical, more like turning into the hulk magical. The unique tone, sleek design, and precise action and intonation make G&L basses truly one of a kind. I always play bass and when I do, I prefer G&L."

Look for the new album, J.A.C.K., from Forever The Sickest Kids, on June 25. The single "Chin Up Kid" is available on iTunes now. Visit ftskonline.com for more information.
